What is breast Lift (Mastopexy)?
A breast lift (mastopexy) removes excess skin, reshapes the breast tissue and moves the nipple to a higher position, giving a firmer, more youthful contour. If the breasts have also lost volume, an implant can be added during the same operation. The incision pattern depends on how much the breasts have dropped: around the nipple only, around the nipple and vertically down (lollipop), or an inverted-T (anchor) shape.
